Here's a fun idea! I've seen chalkboard surfaces put on kids' toy boxes, refrigerators and closet doors, and Kid-sized tables, but not a dinner table. This was featured on design*sponge as a before/after project, and it sounds like the owners of the table are having a great time with it. (Never thought as your dining table as FUN before, have you?)
